Luke P. Twomey’s practice focuses on employment law, school district defense, and business litigation. His work ranges from breach of contract and trade secret claims in business disputes to discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims in employment lawsuits.
Prior to joining TencerSherman, Luke gained comprehensive experience through his specialization in several distinct legal sectors. He primarily focused his practice on business litigation and transactions. The scope of his work included handling both federal and state actions consumer protection lawsuits, employment claims and worker designations, corporate governance and compliance, and representing contractors in construction litigation and transactions. He represented several prominent Silicon Valley tech companies and helped clients navigate the still-evolving legal issues of the gig economy. He most recently expanded his practice to represent individuals suffering long-term disabilities in their battles against insurance companies.
Luke graduated from UC Davis School of Law (King Hall) in 2017. He was a member of both the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams, earning multiple awards for his advocacy. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from University of San Diego in 2014.
In his time away from the office, Luke enjoys playing golf, basketball, and spending time at San Diego cliffs and beaches.
