Manuel Jimenez is an Associate at Tencer Sherman, he is a licensed attorney in both California and Mexico.
Mr. Jimenez’s practice focuses on representing employers in litigation involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, PAGA actions, NLRB matters, and other employment-related issues. He also advises clients on preventive strategies and compliance with workplace laws.
Mr. Jimenez brings extensive litigation experience, having served as first chair in trials and represented clients in arbitrations and mediations. He regularly appears in court to argue dispositive and procedural motions, conducts evidentiary hearings and depositions, and drafts a wide range of legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Mr. Jimenez served as a litigation attorney at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, where he represented clients through all phases of litigation and acted as first chair in multiple trials.
In Mexico, Mr. Jimenez spent over a decade as a commissioner for various Federal Courts and Federal Appellate Courts. In that role, he advised judges and magistrates on labor and employment law, drafted judicial rulings, and presided over court-ordered mediations and hearings.
Mr. Jimenez is fluent in Spanish and draws on his binational legal background to provide strategic, culturally informed representation across diverse legal matters.
In college, Manuel was a Division I soccer player. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katia, and their daughter, Adria.
